Homemade Spicy Chili
Habanero Hellfire Chili Recipe

This homemade spicy chili recipe is packed full of fire in the form of jalapenos, habaneros, and other hot delights. Habanero hellfire chili also includes ground beef and pork, tomatoes and other chili favorites.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 lb. sliced bacon
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb. ground beef, chuck, or round
  • 1 med. diced onion
  • 2 c. homemade beef stock
  • 1 diced green bell pepper
  • 6 seeded, chopped habanero peppers
  • 6 seeded, chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 1 TBS crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 TBS hot pepper sauce
  • 1 1/2 TBS ground cumin
  • 3 TBS chili powder
  • 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 (16 oz.) drained cans whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 c. beer of choice
  • 2 (16 oz.) drained cans chili beans
  • 2 minced cloves of garlic
  • 3 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 oz. chili paste
  1. Crisp bacon in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Remove bacon. Soak up extra grease with paper towels and then crumble. Drain grease from pan, leaving enough to coat bottom.
  2. Brown beef and pork in remaining bacon grease medium high heat.
  3. Stir in the bell pepper, onion, jalapeno peppers, habanero peppers, garlic, cumin, red pepper flakes, homemade beef stock, chili paste, pepper sauce, beer, crushed tomatoes, whole tomatoes, tomato paste, and chile powder.
  4. Bring to a boil. Then, reduce heat, cover, and simmer about an hour, stirring occasionally. Add beans and bacon and continue simmering for another 30 minutes.
  5. Ladle into bowls and enjoy this homemade spicy chili recipe.
